The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) reports that a bigfoot was spotted by an elderly resident on March 12, 2025 on a dirt road near a rural house west of Hygene and Longmont, Colorado, north of Boulder. A woman named Edith living on St. Vrain Road said that she was looking out her front door window at 10 pm, and saw an apelike creature walking very briskly north on 49th Street in front of her property.
Edith told BFRO director Mathew Moneymaker, “It was very large, about 8 feet tall, hunched forward. I am a senior but of sound mind. Have never seen it before. Have never heard of any sightings before. I told my son who lives in WA. It had very large arms and legs. It was walking in dark shadow but in moonlight, looking straight forward.” She said that she has lived on the property for 52 years and “Have never seen one [bigfoot] before.”
BFRO director Mathew Moneymaker said Edith was adamant that it had to be a bigfoot because of the size of the creature: “It was walking north along the gravel road [49th Street approaching St. Vrain], walking roughly in the middle of the gravel road.” She only saw it for a few seconds as it passed by but she got a good look at the moving shape in the moonlight. There is a large alfalfa field to the north of her property. Judith says she sees deer around her property frequently. (BFRO.net, 14 Mar 2025)
